WINEAUX Benaza Mencia Monterrei 2008- This Spanish wine is made from the Mencia grape and tastes like a cross between a really good Côtes du Rhône and a bright de-classified, everyday drinking Bourgogne. Medium-deep ruby in color, notes of anise, red fruits and blueberries. Medium full, with soft, subtle tannins, a long refreshing finish.
